Here’s a fact: Holistic Health and Healthy Glowing Skin go hand in hand. There is a direct correlation between the processed, highly refined foods we eat, the amount of stress in our lives and what we see show up on our skin.
Skin, the largest organ of the body acts as a second kidney and is the body’s primary interface with the environment. Constantly growing and replacing itself, it acts as a barrier that protects us against harm from chemicals, bacteria, fungi and abrasion. Sweat glands permeate the skin’s 11,000 square feet of surface area (which includes skin surfaced, sweat glands, and ducts). These glands are a major thoroughfare for the elimination of toxins.
Fluids in the blood and lymph are sacrificed to manufacture sweat. When we sweat, some of the poisons these fluids contain are excreted through the skin. A person can lose as much as 3 liters of fluid per hour from sweating profusely. So it makes sense that if your health is imbalanced it will show up on your skin.

Why I Believe So Passionately in Sharing What I've Learned
I can’t tell you how many thousands of dollars I’ve spent on this cream or that serum to heal what I saw as flaws when I looked in the mirror. When I look at old photos of myself with my bright red lipstick and foundation thick as mud covering my uneven skin tone and blotchy skin, I can’t believe I wore that much makeup thinking that was what real “Beauty” looked liked.
Every time I either went to the mall or read a fashion magazine, I would buy the latest skin care product and often times I would think that this cleanser or that masque would be the answer to all of my skin care concerns.
What finally did it for me was, one day, I realized I needed more drawer space for all of the products I had purchased over the months and when I realized I had run out of storage space in my bathroom cabinets and drawers, I was embarrassed and shocked at the amount of money I had spent and I knew something had to change.
Years later after working with numerous clients who suffered with acne, rosacea, eczema, as well as those clients who were spending a fortune trying to find that fountain of youth in a bottle, I knew that the key to healthy radiant skin begins with a diet full of clean whole foods, the amount of water we drink, if we’re getting enough sleep and how we handle the stress is in our life.
